Pimoben tablets contain pimobendan and benazepril hydrochloride as active ingredients. This combination of an inotrope and an ACE inhibitor helps in the management of congestive heart failure (CHF). Benazepril reduces angiotensin II and aldosterone, helping prevent cardiac remodeling and slowing the progression of CHF while reducing sodium and water retention to protect kidney health. Pimobendan acts as a heart stimulant that enhances cardiac muscle contraction, increases cardiac output, and reduces cardiac workload.
