🦠 Indications / Uses

Clindamycin is indicated in cases of:
🩹 Infected wounds
💥 Abscesses
🦷 Dental & oral cavity infections
🐕 Superficial pyoderma
🦴 Osteomyelitis (including cases caused by Staphylococcus aureus)
🐾 Clinical toxoplasmosis
🧪 Oral/dental infections caused by or associated with clindamycin-sensitive:
✅ Staphylococci, Streptococci, Bacteroidaceae, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Clostridium perfringens
🦷 Also helpful for antimicrobial cover during dental procedures (as prescribed)

💊 Directions for Use (As Prescribed by Veterinarian)

🐶 Dogs – Infected Wounds, Skin Infection, Abscess & Dental Infections
✅ Oral: 2.5 mg/lb every 12 hours
OR 11 mg/kg OD (once daily) for 7–10 days
OR 5.5 mg/kg BID (twice daily) for 7–10 days

🐶 Dogs – Osteomyelitis
✅ Oral: 5 mg/lb every 12 hours
OR 11 mg/kg BID for 28 days
📌 Treatment is recommended for a minimum of 28 days or as advised by vet

🐱 Cats – Skin Infection, Deep Wound, Abscess & Dental Infection
✅ 11 mg/kg OD for 7–10 days
OR 5.5 mg/kg BID for 7–10 days
