🦠 Antidemodex & Broad-Spectrum Antiparasitic for Dogs & Cats

Silvotin Tablets contain Ivermectin, a powerful broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent used to treat demodectic mange, other mite infestations, and a range of internal parasites in dogs and cats.

🧪 Composition

• Silvotin-6 Tablet: Ivermectin 6 mg

• Silvotin-12 Tablet: Ivermectin 12 mg

💊 Dosage

🔹 General Dose (Dogs & Cats)

• 0.2 mg/kg body weight (oral)

🔹 Demodex (Generalised Demodicosis) – Step-Down Regimen

📅 Daily dosing:

• 0.6 mg/kg once daily × 2 weeks

• 0.4 mg/kg once daily × next 2 weeks

• 0.2 mg/kg once daily × next 2 weeks

➡️ Continue treatment until two consecutive negative skin scrapings are obtained
➡️ Or as directed by a veterinarian

⚙️ Pharmacodynamics (How It Works)

• Acts as a GABA agonist, disrupting neurotransmission in parasites

• Causes paralysis and death of mites and worms

• Interferes with parasite growth, maturation, and reproduction

⚠️ Possible Side Effects

Some animals may experience:

• Loss of appetite

• Vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea or constipation

• Dehydration

• Temporary blindness

• Skin rash or itching
